Course Outline/Overview
This apprenticeship is designed to give learners a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied throughout the sector.
The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving relevant knowledge skills and behaviours as set out in the apprenticeship standard. Supply Chain warehouse Operatives develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression within the industry.
The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of Supply Chain Warehouse Operative contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.
The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative is expected to deliver their responsibilities efficiently and with integrity – showing a positive attitude.
The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills and decision-making.

How will I be assessed?
An external End Point Assessment organisation will complete the final assessment which is made up of two parts.
Interview with portfolio of evidence
In the interview, an independent assessor asks the apprentice questions. It gives the apprentice the opportunity to demonstrate the KSBs mapped to this assessment method. The apprentice can refer to and illustrate their answers with evidence from their portfolio of evidence.
Observation with questions
In the observation with questions, an independent assessor observes the apprentice in their workplace and asks questions. The apprentice completes their day-to-day duties under normal working conditions. It gives the apprentice the opportunity to demonstrate the KSBs mapped to this assessment method.

Funding Options
If f a levy paying employer the costs will be covered by levy contributions, if a non levy employer the employer will have to make a 5% contribution to the costs. There will be no financial cost to the apprentice.
