L2 Warehouse Apprentice Cygnet Colleague

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Apprentice at our Wellingborough site for a fix-term period of 12-months while completing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Apprenticeship.  This role will provide an excellent opportunity to both learn and earn while working within an experienced Warehouse team.

The rate of pay is £9.50 per hour

You’ll be willing to learn and work in a busy warehouse which operates 24 hours per day / 7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.

The Role:

• Completing manual handling tasks and using of manual handling equipment, MHE
• Following instructions and ensuring the picking, assembling, relocation and dispatching of stock is completed to the required standard
• Completing pick tasks using a voice system, talkman and headset
• Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods
• Contributing towards our culture of trust, respect and togetherness
• Adhering and investing in our award-winning health and safety standard
• Attending both classroom and on the job training
• Completing assignments to the given timescales
• Working with both site team and apprenticeship instructors

The Person:

• Willing to undertake a 12-month L2 Warehouse Apprenticeship while working
• Motivated, naturally curious and willing to learn and develop new skills
• Able to undertake both the physical aspects of the role and the academic apprenticeship tasks
• Friendly, a good communicator and team player
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks according to timescales
